DECKERS CREEK TRAIL HALF-MARATHON / TRAIL MIX FESTIVAL
In light of the current outbreak of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Deckers Creek Trail Half-Marathon originally scheduled for June 6, 2020 until the fall. The new event date is currently being determined and we will let you know as soon as possible.
In what has been a continually evolving and challenging time, we recognize that the postponement may come as a disappointment. We do hope that we will be through the worst of this health crisis and looking at brighter times in June. For those of you that are familiar with this event, it is clear we could not host the same event without the generous donations of food from sponsoring restaurants and funding from community businesses that offset the costs of this race. We are a part of our community and could not ask those getting hit hard economically to sponsor this event.
All registered participants for the Deckers Creek Trail Half-Marathon will have their race registration automatically moved to the new 2020 race date.
If you are unable to attend on the new event date, please consider offering this registration as a donation to the Mon River Trails Conservancy and the local rail-trails. This race is the Mon River Trails Conservancy’s largest fund-raiser for the Mon River and Deckers Creek Rail-Trails and your donations keep the trails open and maintained!
All registered participants will receive an email with further details as soon as they are available. If you have additional questions, please contact Ella at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you when we can gather again at the next Deckers Creek Trail Half-Marathon.
We wish you all good health,
Deckers Creek Trail Half-Marathon Team
THE DOWNHILL COURSE
