A five mile stretch of the Mon River Rail-Trail is getting resurfaced with compacted limestone. Contractor is working from Opekiska Trailhead (mile 24) to Pricketts Fort (mile 29) for the month of June. Trail is currently open but be alert to changing conditions in this work zone and make sure the equipment operator sees you before entering an active work area. There may be muddy conditions as trail is prepped for new surface.
