The Deckers Creek Rail-Trail is CLOSED week of April 27 thru May 15 on a section being resurfaced at the Masontown Trailhead and from McKinney Cave Road (mile 14.5) to Route 92 at Reedsville (mile 17.9). This work is resurfacing a 4-mile stretch of rail-trail with compacted limestone. Thank you to crew from WVDOH Cenforce for this work! Please be alert to changing surface conditions in the work zone.
The Deckers Creek Rail-Trail Restoration project is partially funded by a grant from the Federal Highway Administration’s Transportation Alternatives Program which is administered by the West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways. The 20% match to this grant is provided by the Monongalia County Parks and Trails Levy and donations to the Mon River Trails Conservancy.
